1967-1976 Command/Project3 is my fav period... Genuine Electric, The Hellers, First 4 Free Design, Permissive Polyphonics, Spaced Out, Brass Menagerie series, Arnie Lawrence, Tip of the Iceburg are some top favs.

Incredible period, for sure. Earlier stuff is fun cocktail/exotica, but damn they really just blasted off into a unique, wildly original territory all their own.

Don't get me wrong, love the earlier period too a ton. True on the shift from cocktail/exotica to moogy/funky with the times but still cocktail cuts into the 70s. Love it all.
