A show that kinda feels like Casey Kasem cookin’ up crockpot shortwave pirate radio, but with a lot more curbside cassette mixtapes, lost radio serials, French Canadian comedy… and zings, pings, and static. Or, well, maybe it doesn’t feel anything like that at all.

One day I knew a bootleg of a Placebo concert was being delivered so just before 9am I picked a fight with a boy called Gary Temple and he broke my nose and I got to go home, when I got there the cd was on my door mat. I remember every note of that concert. Plus I had to wear a cool face mask for a while afterwards

Started with 90s soundtracks... 90s soundtracks with alternative music were pretty darn good.

I think soundtracks started to suck in the 2000s when studios would deliberately load their films with artists from their sister companies. eg The Spiderman soundtracks had Macy Gray and Chad Kroegger. 🤮

Ha!! Yeah, I don't disagree! I do wonder if some of that had to do with copyright laws or studio fees? Either way, I do miss the good old days!

maine does have this kind of dark energy, nature is beautiful up there but also feels malevolent

My biggest recent soundtrack disappointment was Top Gun Maverick. The first film was wall-to-wall awesomeness of a variety of genres and the Top Gun anthem was soooooooo great.

Marnin'! Another staycation day off.

I was in choir and stage crew. Had many friends in band. We were glad we skipped the prom. Those things are ridiculously expensive.

Gooood morning! Happy Staycation!

You missed nothing with prom! It's highly overrated and the music blew! But choir ruled!

It was okay and enjoyable. It didn't have a gay kiss between Maverick and Iceman. 😿
Their main mission is very Hollywood and not realistic.

Hey, Juli. Sorry you're feeling that way. I used to massage the indentations by the Achilles tendon on my heels to relieve nausea. It might help a little.
