Do you have an LA pro team? I became a Chargers fan in about 1973 when I got a football card with Mike Garrett on it wearing the uni with the white helmet, lightening bold, and the numbers. My favorite NFL years were the Air Coryell teams with Fouts and Joiner, Winslow, etc. The playoff game in Miami will always be the best NFL game I ever saw. But they don't seem to have an LA fanbase.

Hadl and Alworth were long before my time, but I've seen the film. I had high hopes for Rivers, but they have been so snakebitten. I still remember getting up for the '94 Super Bowl with Stan Humphries and Natron Means only to see them crushed before the first period was over by Steve Young and Niners.

I've been tempted to get one. Simplified controls, all brass bridges and parts --- and that auto primer finish with exposed raw wood. For two bills and a little extra setup work, might be the perfect bar band axe.
