Narrated by the great Thurl Ravenscroft, and features A teenage Ron Howard in the role of Mike! They released this on cassette in the late 90s and I loved listening to this! A true classic! I have the cd re release they did in 2009, as well as a few copies of Chilling Thrilling!

Elenor Audley is the voice of Madame Leota, also voiced Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty and The Wicked Steomothrr in Cinderella. The Ghost Host on this album was done by Peter Renaday, who also voiced a lot of other Disneyland characters, such as Abraham Lincoln (based on a real person of course) and Henry the host bear of the Country Bear Jamboree, but in the actual attraction the ghost host was done by the amazing man of a thousand voices, Paul Prees!

WFMU has a long history of having power outages/tech gremlins on Halloween. One year, when Dave Hill was doing his show on Mondays, there was a power outage, so his show had a unplayed intermission. That was scary. Last years Cool Blue Flame with Little Danny, he spilled liquid on his equipment, ending his show early. And lets not talk about Hurricane Sandy

I just have to ask, did you steal this Ghost Stories idea for tonights show from Art Bell?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57pm

I did! I think it started, because I did a show where I was interviewing a couple people, near Halloween, and they told Ghost Stories... and then it occured to me to do that on purpose. I did it several times before I got to Sheena's, and a couple times last year for our #Hellraiser then. But it comes from those late night jobs I had, listening to Art Bell, in the end.
