The last car I had with a cassette player (inherited my mother in law's Toyota Cressida when she passed), wouldn't accept those cassette adaptors. Thankfully current car connects both via usb and Bluetooth.

Years ago, my brother had XM... He wasn't going to use it for a few months.... Let me use it... I was not impressed. I lost signal 20 times between work and home... If it was free maybe, but to pay for shoddy service is not cool. Maybe it works better down south or in the great plains, bit not in the northeast....

My 2015 has a CD player cos that's how the manufacturer supplied map updates. The map data gets stored on a hard drive, but it can store things besides maps: you can copy CDs to it while you drive. Rip n roll!
