my knowledge is limited, but the more i learn, the more i think that we are in for a major upheaval, which could go in either a "good" (freedom, peace, acceptance, etc.) or a "bad" (oppression, dictatorships, hatred, etc.) direction . . . apparently the last time Pluto was hanging out in Aquarius, the constitution of what is now known as "the united states" was being developed, and other places on Earth were challenging monarchies, oppressive systems, etc.

Well - ♇Pluto is regarded as thoroughly transformative of the matters of the sign it transits. Easy to euphemize - but it's death before regeneration. It is otoh - quite slow. It's also regarded as examining the correlates of a sign to its absolute underground foundations. (As it has the Bureaucracies & Hierarchies under ♑︎Capricorn these last 15 years.) ♒︎Aquarius is regarded as correlating to idealistic Humanism - but also Technology & scientific detachment... ☍Opposite of ♌︎Leo's Heart Ego Identity (& Monarchy) - ♒︎Aquarius represents the identity paradox of the Age in terms of the Individual & the Group. (Did I mention Tech ?)
♇Pluto to Regeneration but also Obsession. ♒︎Aquarius to Knowledge & Awareness - but also Eccentricity...
Yeah I wonder how this will be.

One of the funny things about the Shangri-Las/CBGB nexus is that the girls were so young when Shangri-Las hit that they are practically the same age as the CBs bands that hit a decade later. Joey Ramone was a couple years younger than Mary Weiss.

George's first Harrisong. Written when he was ill.
Well - I think TheBeatles & especially Lennon - but the whole Liverpool experience was about the play of dark & light. & that early in Pop Music - it was about how much subject you could communicate in a surface facile form.
Then Dylan crossed over & let it all out of the bag.
