They had Mardi Gras style music when we arrived sort of like Wild Magnolias and then he played a conch shell in costume, gave us a tour of museum. Kinda reminded me of Mardi Gras museum in NOLA. He also cut a rekkid with Jimmy Buffett back in the '90's! Haha! We got to do a 2nd line with bongos and cowbells, too!

I'll never forget the first time I saw the Wild Magnolias live, a top-five show of all time. And then years later when I was invited (allowed?) to play at an Indian practice at 2nd and Dryades, and to play with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and the Golden Eagles on Super Sunday. What an honor!

I'll never forget the first time I saw the Wild Magnolias live, a top-five show of all time. And then years later when I was invited (allowed?) to play at an Indian practice at 2nd and Dryades, and to play with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and the Golden Eagles on Super Sunday. What an honor!
