I also played Mojo and Dead Milkmen on my radio station but in late 80s - I was a on the local community radio while in high school. dunno if you have community radio there. Volunteer run. Like WFMU but a much smaller scale - in my small town of 16,000. I was putting some strange items in their ears!

We do! Most of the cities I've lived in have had community stations, very small, that you could volunteer at, and often host a show. My first show, I was one of the community members at a college station. There's a station here in the Mid-Valley, not far from my house, that is an all-volutneer, community run station. I was on there before covid.
