It's interesting. Our Species is clearly altricial & highly social. But with our complex communications & interdependence ...we're also highly conceptual & reflective with a profound sense of being alone in our own heads & self-aware.
The likes of Terence McKenna suggest our very Consciousness took some kind of critical turn re such paths not generally credited...
& of course not every Society is precisely the same in these matters...
As a hermetic metaphysician - I consider (con - sider : literally, by the stars) that we are in the Age (/Platonic Month) of ♒︎Aquarius (since, some maintain, about the time of Columbus - & for a couple more thousand years) - a sign paradoxical in the sense of correlating to both social idealism & staunch personal independence (the sign ☍Opposite of warm but egoistic even Monarchical ♌︎Leo's heart)...

ANY food -a drop of juice on the counter - and there'd be a few dozen walking around the sink. if i left a food scrap container out there'd be 1-2 dozen in there.
they eventually found the honey jar in a high cabinet. i started leaving it on the counter but atop a glass jar and they stopped coming around.
i guessed correctly that they wouldn't walk up the glass.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Remember : Reagan was trading in Arms & Dope - overthrowing Democratically Elected leaders. A complete Gangstar & Thug. Of course - they want to put him on Mt. Rushmore - cowboy hat & all.
Are Democratic Party politicians paragons of Democracy itself & Human Moral rectitude. No - they are not. But we're also not trying to replace our Flag with their personal banners - flying them around in our SUVs & wearing their caps as holy reliquary.

So - let the Great of Two Evils just waltz in - cause you're too insightful & morally pure to sully yourself by marking a box on a paper every couple of years in five minutes.
Yeah - that's a good strategy.

...yes they are liars. the dems are thieves and liars and selfish business partners with the pharmaceutical industry, among others; and most democratic loyalists are fascists...
