@woo. I think there should just be a Hall of Fame for all pop, rock, jazz, folk and non-classical music. Make all the available music out there part of their permanent recording and print collection. Prepare rotating exhibits for visitors. Have live concerts and guest lectures. Do away with labels. I love classical music too, but maybe cataloging that would complicate matters too much. I know I'm dreaming big and what I have suggested is unlikely to occur, but hey, we can always dream!
