Has the town(if on city water) done any work nearby? New housing built? Fire Hydrant flush outs? Contact town ASAP if you're on a city water feed Run the cold side down the drain for several minutes to see if it gets worse or better. If it gets better, do the same for the hot side & see what the results are. As Dale said could be sediment from the water heater. I flush mine every month or so because I have well water. I also change my house filter monthly

	🌜 ♥ 7:26am dale: iron in water doesn't hurt anything. just a bitch to clean. put a plastic sandwich bag with vinegar in it over the shower hear and put a twist tie on to hold it in place. leave it for a day and you should get a clean shower head. there's a product called 'wet and forget shower cleaner' that cleans walls pretty well, smells like vanilla and isn't bleachy smelling like a lot of cleaners. it's expensive though.

I’m impressed and have real respect for kid for not ratting me out!

If it gets better, do the same for the hot side & see what the results are. As Dale said could be sediment from the water heater. I flush mine every month or so because I have well water. 	🌜 ♥ 7:26am dale: iron in water doesn't hurt anything. just a bitch to clean. put a plastic sandwich bag with vinegar in it over the shower hear and put a twist tie on to hold it in place. leave it for a day and you should get a clean shower head. there's a product called 'wet and forget shower cleaner' that cleans walls pretty well, smells like vanilla and isn't bleachy smelling like a lot of cleaners. it's expensive though.
