I didn't have a ticket, but I went there with a sign 5 hours before the show. Someone at the venue took pity and sold me a comp ticket she thought wouldn't be claimed. I spent 3+ hours walking around a nearby lake so not to fall asleep. Turned out the ticket was for a former dancer of the company (I recognized her and was embarrassed), so the woman who sold me the ticket came over and told me not to take the seat (everyone was on the stage) but sit on the edge of the oval where they danced. I couldn't believe my luck

I spent 3+ hours walking around a nearby lake so not to fall asleep. Turned out the ticket was for a former dancer of the company (I recognized her and was embarrassed), so the woman who sold me the ticket came over and told me not to take the seat (everyone was on the stage) but sit on the edge of the oval where they danced. I couldn't believe my luck

One of Bette Davis’s last movies was a tv movie with this theme, scared the crap out of me as a youngster.
