Splen-tastic show as always! What was the source of those Nintendo bleeps you were using as bed tracks?

Hi Sara, those Nintendo tracks are from a 2-volume compilation called "Best of Nintendo Music." I was really excited to find the nintendo-fied version of the opening theme to The Goonies (it's a Cyndi Lauper song called "The Goonies 'R Good Enough").

I first heard the Goonies track at a friend's house a couple of weeks ago. First I was like, "wait, this is a C64 game, not Nintendo." Then I was like, "wait, and that song itself was just a cover of a Cyndi Lauper song."
Turns out it's even more indirect than that, since Goonies, in fact, was for the C64 and not Nintendo...but there was a sequel game made for the Nintendo, which used the same song.
