First of all, yes, there are racoons in Brooklyn. More so if you live near a park or graveyard. Secondly what you heard was probably cats having sex. As a Brooklyn resident I often hear their lovin' screams coming through our backwindows. here's a little bit about the feline mating habits from wikipedia: "At first, the female will reject the male. But eventually, the female will allow the male to mate. The female will give a loud yowl as the male pulls out of her. After mating, the female will give herself a thorough wash. If a male attempts to breed with her at this point, the female will attack him. Once the female is done grooming, the cycle will repeat." -- and yes the noise is frightening! & good show! is the rest of that Bosavi boxset as good as that track you played?

Yeah Bosavi is pretty wonderful all the way through... the Guitar Bands Of The 1990s disc is incredible, as is another disc which features a recording of New Guineans singing a song while chopping down trees.

We love Created by Clive!!! What a great song!!! It's my favourite and I'd love to know if I can buy it in Australia, at, I dunno, Sanity or something. I love it and I want to marry it! Aboooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm sure you could probably get a Syn CD with "Created By Clive" online if you can't find it at any Australian shops.

Why thanks! I'm outraged - on iTunes they don't have it! They have 14 Hour Technicolour Dream or whatever, BUT NOT MY SONG!!! But don't worry, I suggested it. ^^ Never heard of WFMU in my life until now!! But now I know how to spell it off by heart!! WFMUWFMUWFMUWFMUWFMU

You could try this for Created by Clive. They sell a cd with all Syn tunes from the sixties.
I do have an old 7" but buying the cd would be cheaper.
Best.
