Hatch! What was that Pieces of Peace?

Tue. 10/16/07 9:21am From: Lang

It's not on Numero ,but seems very much like something that should be on Numero...what year is it 70's?

Tue. 10/16/07 9:27am From: north guinea hills

hmmm.., the record fair is coming up, it means something is going to happen that will leave me broke. i've been up here for 7 years, and when every record fair rolls around, i'm always broke. grimble grumble!

Tue. 10/16/07 9:35am From: robert

wow! wing tip sloat. i had this on a demo tape from the band that I got after seeing them in boston in the late 80's/early 90's. Lots of good songs on by them. Thanks

Tue. 10/16/07 10:13am From: Rob W

Digging the show as always and happy to hear you playing a track from the swell new Tabu Ley anthology!

Tue. 10/16/07 10:21am From: Lang

you could always go as coffee and a donut

Tue. 10/16/07 10:21am From: mike

hi

Tue. 10/16/07 10:22am From: north guinea hills

hmmm...., for couples, how about mummified conjoined twins?

Tue. 10/16/07 10:23am From: dei xhrist

One of you can put a Barbie or doll house bed on your head and pretend you're the monster under the bed; the other can wear jammies, preferably the footie pajamas.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:24am From: Bryant

Seen Stuart Gordon's DAGON? How about DUST DEVIL?

Tue. 10/16/07 10:25am From: Briezy

Susperia was pretty creepy, some creepy ballet dancers. I really wanna see Dead Ringers but cannot find.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:25am From: dei xhrist

my gosh, someone else who's seen Dagon! The love story where the monster is the hero.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:25am From: Pamela

I have a temp in here today. She was getting something out of a file here and asked what I was listening to - that she really liked the song. So, I explained it all, and then looked for the particular artist and of course it happened to be Psychadelic Horseshit. !So goes my professional demeanor... :-)

Tue. 10/16/07 10:25am From: Hatch

I would love to be mummified conjoined twins. Don't think my lady friend will be into that, though.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:26am From: Hatch

I wasn't that into Dust Devil. Is Dagon better than From Beyond?

Tue. 10/16/07 10:27am From: Loomis

Sleepaway Camp 1 & 2 are great! Also, Argento's Phenomena a.k.a. Creepers is awesome.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:30am From: Matt

Perhaps you can be Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra?

Tue. 10/16/07 10:34am From: jason

more jams like tivol

Tue. 10/16/07 10:37am From: efd

would a record-size hammerhead shark be 12" square?

Tue. 10/16/07 10:39am From: dei xhrist

Dagon is the best Lovecraft film adaptation I've seen. Side note, one year I dressed up as Miss Innsmouth 1967 - I had a beehive, prom dress, beauty contestant ribbon, and gills.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:39am From: Lang

I second the Lee Hazelwood/Nancy idea

Tue. 10/16/07 10:42am From: eric

Hey, you just mentioned an upcoming show by Effi Briest--I just finished watching the movie last night--Fassbinder's amazing adaptation of Fontane's amazing novel. So... since I'm stuck at the office (in chicago) would you perchance be willing to play a track by this band, so we all can learn what a band sounds like who names themselves after a novel that's been generously, though perhaps none too aptly, termed the german "Anna Karenina"? Thanks!

Tue. 10/16/07 10:44am From: Hatch

It could also be a 7" or 10" hammerhead, Evan.

Tue. 10/16/07 10:46am From: north guinea hills

i caught a baby 8" hammerhead off the coast of florida/georgia saturday

Tue. 10/16/07 11:14am From: Lang

HATCH
you read my MIND!

Tue. 10/16/07 11:15am From: maggie

i don't know what you're saying about our halloween costumes on the airwaves, but can't we just to stick to the original plan of conjoined coffee donut mummy twins?

Tue. 10/16/07 11:18am From: north guinea hills

maggie, that's and excellent yummy mummy costume!

Tue. 10/16/07 11:19am From: Lang

Mummified coffee and donut!!! Isn't coffee and donut so cute???

Tue. 10/16/07 11:27am From: north guinea hills

thanks hatch, i was wanting to pick up the "people take warning!" comp.

Tue. 10/16/07 11:31am From: kwhitehead

Hey Hatch: What's that great track you played in the background during your last break? Is it Yes? It slays me every week.

Tue. 10/16/07 11:33am From: Hatch

It's an instrumental track by the Chilean psych band Los Blops.

Tue. 10/16/07 11:46am From: Visual

this Julia Kent track could be an excellent soundtrack for a movie. really.

Tue. 10/16/07 11:48am From: peaches

"Dorval" is awesome - very tense French spy love triangle movie, without being sappy

Tue. 10/16/07 11:55am From: fighttheTrueJCityStyle

Tue. 10/16/07 11:58am From: bubs
