Reporting from Florida, great selection this morning! Nothing like a little Walker loud to bust up the daylight cobwebs!

Tue. 4/8/08 10:16am From: Kent Downing

You are rocking it! This makes for an very enjoyable morning. Thanks especially for Wildlife and Sperrmull. Paradise.

Tue. 4/8/08 10:38am From: ross

Tue. 4/8/08 10:40am From: Cecile

Jumping in late, but this Future kind track is great.

Tue. 4/8/08 10:51am From: Andrew

Late starter. Just got the Catherine Ribeiro + 2 Bis album from '68 a few weeks ago and it's amazing. Seek it out- primitive pastoral psych beauty.

Tue. 4/8/08 10:58am From: Carmichael

Good morning Hatch and bloggers. Nice playlist; I see I missed Scott Walker, which is par for the course for me. Restitution seems to be "ridin' the storm out".

Cool ...

Tue. 4/8/08 11:00am From: efd

The Chords! Nice one!

Tue. 4/8/08 11:01am From: Cecile

You guys know about the Undertones? God, I grew up in Ireland, where they were Gods!! I kind of like you people now ....

Tue. 4/8/08 11:14am From: Cecile

We sure do! The first 3 albums, and parts of the last one are great.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:15am From: proplox

Hatch, got to love this. Although been nothing but quality, quality selections with Walker, Jamul, Yahowa, looks like its always New Wave that gets the board jumping....

Tue. 4/8/08 11:15am From: Hatch

By "you people" do you mean... Americans?

Tue. 4/8/08 11:16am From: Sasa

I played Positive Touch last week at my radio show.
Greeeat bend. Greetings from Macedonia.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:19am From: Cecile

Or pogoing, proplox

Tue. 4/8/08 11:19am From: Carmichael

Ha! No, I mean WFMUers. Bloggers. Cyberspaceans. Americans are cool. I even married one.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:23am From: ?

those tickets are for friday or saturday?

Tue. 4/8/08 11:24am From: Sasa

Carmichael, any news about Undertones?

Tue. 4/8/08 11:24am From: Hatch

Friday, and they're gone.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:29am From: Carmichael

Sadly, it seems they're not gonna get back together. Feargal's gone his own way, and the O'Neills have lots of projects and That Petrol Emotion.

Look for the documentary "Teenage Kicks". It's a wonderful look (back) at them and the time.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:31am From: Cecile

I will, carmichael. thank for the tip!

Tue. 4/8/08 11:31am From: Sasa

For sure.
They are gods in Skopje, too.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:32am From: Cecile

I gotta say, though, that the hippie I'd-like-to-teach-the-world-to-sing pop isn't quite my cup of tea (or can of Coke), but more power to ya, Hatch!

Tue. 4/8/08 11:33am From: Carmichael

Their new album should be called, "Gods in Skopje"!!!

Tue. 4/8/08 11:34am From: Cecile

That will be the name of my Undertones tribute band. If I ever get around to forming it.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:42am From: Hatch

This one's for you, Cecile...

Tue. 4/8/08 11:44am From: Hatch

Also, for Ike and Irwin. The whole set is dedicated to them, really.

Tue. 4/8/08 11:47am From: Cecile

Agh, I missed it. Had to go get the mail. I'll check it out on archives

Tue. 4/8/08 11:57am From: ross

cool, i didn't want to hear any Klaus Dinger anyway....

Tue. 4/8/08 12:01pm From: ross

Tue. 4/8/08 12:01pm From: proplox
