Sounds from the archive of the future, sonic drilling into the past, dissonant rumbling, lyrical melodies, noises (human, animal, mechanical, digital) inscrutable yet honest, desultory but consistent.

clyde stubblefield:

Great set- david- more Whitefield blockrockers please
  4:09pm
doug from DC:

Does anyone else hear the late '60 Caetano going mnyin-mnyum and think of late '70s David Byrne w/Talking Heads doing similar vocalizations?
  4:09pm
Devin:

Woo hoo, Willie!!
  4:25pm
Parq:

It's all right -- they're speaking Chinese.
  4:27pm
Swami:

Ronee Blakly? Didn't Robert Blake off her?
  4:31pm
doug from DC:

That was Bonnie Lee Bakley, apparently no relation.
  4:36pm
Marshall Stacks:

If the FCC spoke Dog, there'd be lots of edits in this piece too.
  5:00pm
Parq:

Is "Between Today and Yesterday" out on CD? Great news. What a wonderful album, one of my favorite 70s releases.
  5:11pm
Joe:

Hey, Parq-Wasn't "Sell, Sell, Sell" also on the soundtrack for "O Lucky Man"?
  5:17pm
Parq:

Y'know, I never saw "O Lucky Man", but I dig Malcolm McC, and I knew Price did the ST. Is it a good movie?
  5:21pm
Joe:

I don't think it's as good as "If..." I think Lindsay Anderson went a bit over the top with "O Lucky Man!" I like the soundtrack, though!
  5:51pm
Kevin in BayRidge:

Parq, Saw it milleniums ago but I thought it was excellent if a little to long (approx 3hrs). Price breaks the segments up w/his "musical interludes". In it's own weird way, I thought it it was a little bit of a setup for Mcdowell in Kubrick's Clockwork Ie Things coming back to bite him in the rump!
