  Mon. 1/24/11 12:32am evan:

But now I miss my rhodes piano...
  Mon. 1/24/11 12:40am fleep:

Since this song was written, scientists have developed oogum boogum that's stable at room temperature.
  Mon. 1/24/11 12:43am coalhard:

thanks memphis!!
  Mon. 1/24/11 12:49am Jack:

Ah the strange thrill high-school me got from Joan Jett's cover of this, when she didn't do a gender update of the lyrics.
  Mon. 1/24/11 12:49am Adam:

I always loved this song, especially the full-length one...thank you, Therese...
  Mon. 1/24/11 12:50am fleep:

  Mon. 1/24/11 1:53am coalhard:

Therease does fantastic job at the helm-has steered ship around rocky shores like a pro
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:13am Adam:

That period, and those styles, of psychedelic influences overlapping with old garage, early punk, glam, hard rock, metal: great tunes and fascinating musical genealogy!
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:16am coalhard:

AVALANCHE WARNING--:due to high sounddrifts listeners may find themselves burried to their ears-do not struggle--you may knock your beer over
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:19am Adam:

Post-punk era is ever intriguing, too: genre- conventions had softened and had not re-hardened yet into other subgenres through the '80s and after. Damn, you're good, Therese!
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:22am Therese:

You are all very kind! Thanks!
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:36am Adam:

  Mon. 1/24/11 2:52am coalhard:

  Mon. 1/24/11 2:52am Therese:

Bill- I love that song & just felt like hearing it!
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:54am Wild, Bill:

As an unsolicited defense by a third party, or if you prefer as an aside: sometimes great trash can be enjoyed as a has been relic, even if it was overplayed to the point of pain, etc. Joe Queenan wrote that happened to him with Manilow. Better that song than Vicki Lawrence's work on "Mama's Family"...
Mon. 1/24/11 2:54am bill the peg leg envelope stuffer motherfucker:

what better reason--what more could i ask of any dj
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:54am Toonces:

Ain't a damn thing wrong with Vicki Lawrence.
Mon. 1/24/11 2:55am What You Driving, Cat?:

Have you seen any of VL's infomercial work? We all make mistakes....
  Mon. 1/24/11 2:56am coalhard:

wait wern't there two vicki's ?
Mon. 1/24/11 2:56am bill the peg leg envelope stuffer motherfucker:

oh listen i was not at all being critical. I am just facitnated by the thinking process of Djs 0.
Mon. 1/24/11 2:58am Oui, Oui, Bill:

Tout va bien! C'est tres groovie!
