Come to think of it, Parq, Mike Watt was live on my show about 15 years ago. I was interviewing someone else on the phone and Mike grabbed it and chatted when he learned it was patched through to WFMU. Can't remember who the original interview was though!

Not sure if any form of "Mra" has been posted at Electric Jive. I am spotlighting that blog's offerings exclusively. But you are right about that particular track, Hugo. One of my all-time anthems.

Amanda, this album title was a thinly veiled act of sedition. The record companies were all white-owned and all the recorded material had to be vetted by the censors. This album title was a message loud and clear to the revolutionary blood pumping in the hearts of many—unbeknownst to the authorities.
