Yeah, acquisition situation too bad at Jukebox. Sony still holds ownership of the material. "Downloading is not permitted. The authorization of rights holders of the recording is required in order to obtain a copy of the recording." Good luck with that, Library & Sony.

Maybe the people with the leaf blowers are not using them to blow leaves, but instead just to blow-dry the dirt so it becomes dust that they can blow into the air. Blowing dust everywhere seems to be most of what is accomplished with a leaf blower. Maybe we need an alternate name for leaf blowers, like, I don't know, "dust clouders" or something.

'Relevance' and 'Title' sorts on 3585 hits of eg, 'Popular music' don't add much and aren't very conducive to browsing. Jukeboxes invite the random shake-up to music lists don't they?

Went to see Crumb's Genesis illustrations at a museum last weekend, which was impossible to take in in a too-brief visit. Hadn't realized there were scores of comic-style pages, and not just selected scenes.

Splendid, Brian! York is a lovely place. We were at the new campus of the University of York, in a so-called "pod" right next to an artificial lake. Less display of royalness in the streets on the actual day than what we would have thought in advance. Bit of a media hype, wasn't it? Of course, we had to check out the Shambles and the Jorvik Centre.
