When you played them back to back, I just knew there was some weird Wizzard/Suzi Quattro connection. (I lived in the UK in 1972-74.)

Wizzard's first number one single (See My Baby Jive) and Suzi Q's first number one single (Can the Can) were back to back UK no. 1 singles in early 1973.

Not a quadratic equation, but a quirk of pop-music history...

Sandy:

I'm so glad Jude got to hear Free to Be before he ran off to his second party (thus far) of the weekend. Not bad for a homebody!!
  6:19pm
Sandy:

Okay. We are going to eat now. I'm so so sorry I didn't respond to all this in the moment! It's really hard to pay attention to two things at once. Don't get me started on walking and chewing gum (and not drooling - that's three)!
Anyway, I would have LOVED to play Jim Jones Revue. And Jonathan. And more D-Gen. Next time!! Love you all!
And so glad Kathleen and Robert was tuning in from LA too. Hooray for so many of my favorite people!!!
