  3:35pm
Cheri Pi:

I had to turn it down to 10.5, my ears are bleeding;
  3:38pm
PKNY:

F/i must be shorthand for "facemelt"...thanks for playing!
  3:39pm
BSI:

whoa.... just got here. Missed a fave MAN track. This here business looks top-shelf. Headphones on, strapped in.
  3:39pm
don:

it's a beautiful day! (no it's not a request)
  3:40pm
Chris from DC:

Thanks, needed the F/i real bad.
  3:40pm
Loren:

Nice... full on astral jam mode... thanks Fabio!
  3:43pm
emmagineering:

That om f/1 track reminds me of early acid mothers ad even pre-mothers, like mainliner. Nice and Jammy but still with heavyosity.
  3:50pm
slugluv1313:

"BUT THEIR LEGACY LIVES ON!"
  3:58pm
the glowing one:

I just tuned in. That's Brian Eno or 801 playing... not whoever F/i is... what is going on here?!?!
  4:01pm
?:

Note: This playlist is still being updated.
  4:01pm
Loren:

Fabio sometimes takes a bit to upload the info... I've learned to really appreciate the delay... it makes it more surprising, all around...
  4:01pm
slugluv1313:

F/i is awesome -- still have some of their old cassettes
  4:05pm
BSI:

@slugluv: funny, was recently spinning my old F/i MERIDIAN CHANNEL tape, & it has aged very well...
  4:05pm
Michael From Elkins Park:

I saw F/i at The Khyber in Philadelphia once. I had waited over decade to see them from the time I learned about them through their early RRR releases. They played for maybe 20 minutes and then some police came in and shutdown the Khyber for PA Liquor Control Board violations. Ended up hanging out with the F/i guys at the bar next door.....
  4:05pm
the glowing one:

see, and I was beginning to think that F/i was some dude playing *really* long samples... like song-length-long samples...
  4:10pm
Looms:

d@_@b
Hello y'all!
  4:10pm
Cecile:

I keep thinking one of the Die Kruezen guys played in there, but I think that was Boy Dirt Car.
  4:11pm
Loren:

This is a great track by Moss and should get the vinyl treatment... oh, along with all of the mathew bower VHF stuff...
  4:11pm
Loren:

now where are we going?
  4:13pm
Cecile:

Fabio, you should get the Sunn O))) dude on your show! He's into a lot of the same stuff you are. Could be interesting. Did you hear the bit where Sunn played the Italian prison?
  4:13pm
fabio:

It was Boy Dirt Car I believe. They even had a split album together
  4:14pm
BSI:

I don't know, but we can't stop here. This is BAT country.
  4:14pm
Loren:

Love the Die Kreuzen track "all white"
  4:19pm
Cecile:

that is a great one. And their second album was great ,but didn't get the love it deserved...
  4:20pm
slugluv1313:

YES!!! MERIDIAN CHANNEL is the one i was thinking about in particular!
  4:25pm
Loren:

This guitar piece reminds me a bit of HNAS
  4:34pm
Loren:

Thinking about going to see Antonioni's Red Desert...
  4:38pm
Andrea on the M62:

I have been working while listening to WFMU for the last 10 hours non-stop....only just realized...learnt more form the station than I have my work!
  4:40pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

WFMU is a place of "higher" education...snork.
  4:45pm
Tomek:

Gosh! I need to walk my dogs on cold rainy evening in Warsaw (Poland) but the music is fantastic. Why there is no hot spot in the park?!
  4:50pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

that's a wonderful name, Guardian Alien
  4:58pm
Loren:

Yamash'ta & The Horizon – Sunrise From West Sea "Live" LP out the door for 600 bucks!!
  5:00pm
Stanley:

Be alert. The world need more lerts.
  5:04pm

david:

  5:13pm
Looms:

  5:17pm
Carmichael:

Hey hey! Got here right at the break. Don't have to jump a set. Fabio dude, you played Man! Yee haw!
  5:18pm
Marmalade kitty:

Happy 12th night!
  5:33pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

  5:34pm
Loren:

Klimt, at least I thought that is what the label is called
  5:35pm
Hacksaw:

hey fabio... i finally got around to watching Joe last night... now i just imagine your show as hippie killin' music.

Good movie!
  5:36pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

ok, but why do all the boots come from France?
  5:38pm
Carmichael:

Das Boot came from Germany.
  5:38pm
Loren:

Fabio... great as always... peace everyone... gotta go.
  5:44pm
Cecile:

Listener Dave, I'm sure it's someone who likes a certain destijl of music.
  5:45pm
Robert Swipe:

Dulcimer? Or Autoharp? Discuss.
  5:50pm
Ike:

Get a *vaporizer* not a humidifier. The water is hot enough to kill the bacteria (I think) and it's cheaper too.
  5:51pm
Cecile:

depends on what you need.
It's not that hard to clean them, you just gotta remember to do it.
  5:51pm
Matt from Springfield:

Loy Krathong and the Asian lantern festivals are around Thanksgiving time. I have some collapsable paper lanterns from Thailand to light, and see them off like a hot air balloon.
  5:51pm
kata:

Fabio, do a steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil.
  5:52pm
Matt from Springfield:

Quasar TVs weren't that great in quality. Better than Zenith TVs maybe, that's not saying much.
  5:54pm
kata:

@Robert, I prefer autoharps, see The Great Unwashed: track 6 on whatever album that is...
  5:55pm
Matt from Springfield:

Donald Pleasance: "I'll - be - BACK back back back..."
  5:55pm
Ike:

I HATED trying to clean humidifiers. Hard nasty crusty build-up that wouldn't come off, stinky, nasty... vaporizers are so much less of a pain in the butt.
  5:55pm
Mike East:

we have an order for an autoharp going out tomorrow. Seems like the lazyman's instrument to me.
  5:56pm
slugluv1313:

QUASAR!!!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o68uyLIuXAs
  5:56pm
jk:

I love this story!
  5:56pm
Matt from Springfield:

Go Clay! Re-thieving!
  5:57pm
Robert Swipe:

Me too Kata - as much for the sound of the word. Conjures up images of souped-up, rubber-burnin' mouth organs, doesn't it?;)
  5:58pm
phillip:

That was pretty well told Clay.
  5:58pm
Hacksaw:

I wanna hear more about the bullies on fabio's block when he was growing up.
  5:58pm
Robert Swipe:

Lazy is good Mike, from
where I'm sitting! ;)
  5:59pm
don:

had a friend who found his stolen bike locked to a gate. he put his own lock around both the thief's lock and the gate. when he came back both locks were cut and the bike was gone
  5:59pm
kata:

I used to pull espresso at a hippy grocery store, and a dude stood outside some days hammering a dulcimer. made me wanna die.
  6:00pm
zoran:

@ Cecile... yeah Fabio maybe get O'Malley on your show... (dianes show into yours has been great btw...) He was talking a bit about herzog as well as tony conrads pickled film pieces...
  6:01pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

you got it Cecile
  6:02pm
Robert Swipe:

Hammering a dulcimer? That sounds a bit extreme to me Kata. I'll stick with a plectrum, I think....;)
  2:12pm
raga:

really, really nice show, Fabio
  2:26pm
Oona:

Great show, I especially enjoyed that second set.
  2:30pm
Dr. Oona:

Fabs, there is a bug going around that lingers in the chest for weeks. Try some swimming--it really took care of it for me....
