Hey Everybody! Glad you could join me today. Jay, maybe Autotune the News will get on the speech and songify it.

Hello Irene, lookng forward to seeing Charles Lloyd later in the year over here.
Jay this is not karaoke government despite what the republicans might have you thinking.

Brian.... but it would be fun would it not ?

Well yes it would, Jay. Leastways more soul than bush.

Irene, the new Aaron Neville looks like he is back to his early material and less of the wedding singer stuff.

Insanely great show totally reflecting the significance of the day. Not that we expect anything less from Irene Trudel.

No snow, just very cold in So IN. It's Monday and cold can mean only one task: cooking up a heatstorm inside. Have oven, slow cooker and one stove burner a-bubbling.

Hello Irene & Friendship Society & All.
Listening through Tune-In Radio...Whatever works with my crappy signal! Just estatic to listening live at work!!!
Avatar 1:03pm
kat330:

@Mike: It's a melange for different meals during the week. The stovetop has eggplant cubes in a marinara sauce. The oven is baking three huge russet potatoes, and the crockpot (stingily providing very little heatsource ;) has a small pork loin w/ Asian spices, onions and sweet peppers.

@Kat, sounds delicious

sounds lovely. I did my cooking frenzy for the week yesterday.

@G: Say, I recall your saying you were using your FS account that first Thursday the 3rd, but I can't find you then. I'm trying to find any beta tester that was on before my GTDS test post on Friday the 4th (at 12:26), but haven't noted anyone except DJ accouns prior to that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:26pm
G:

I believe the earliest set of beta testers were all the result of Ken asking commenters near the start of a 7SD show to email him. I believe there must have been 4-6 of us, if not more???
Avatar 2:27pm
kat330:

Yep, but apparently you didn't start trying out the account before Friday or ??
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm
G:

Well, I think Ken's idea was to see if we found any bugs or user problems, which I didn't. I just signed up. I didn't know exactly how it would eventually work.

But by a couple of days later, I figured that as long as I'd been asked to sign up, maybe it would be appropriate to mention it, to help turn the soil a bit. So I did...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm

Hi there, Sean!

In doing a search on this album title, I got www.elderly.com -- it's a site for "elderly instruments"! One wonders how they clinched that domain name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm
G:

whois.com says "Creation Date: 18-oct-1995". That probably suffices as an explanation :)

Just back from the Inauguration. Wonderful to chill with Ms. Irene and a ridiculous amount of banjo strings. The President was great, Michelle totally Jackie Oh! All in all a morning well spent celebrating our Victory...

@G: I didn't publicly mention I was using the account until I saw Danne spill the beans first on Scott's show, but I still thought you'd said you'd used yours the Thursday before. I see you now on SUW, a show I never catch.

Hey Irene, i've found being able to listen to end of your show is great reason to deliberately get lost in New Jersey.
