I listened to Bob Seger System's "Mongrel" last night. I have to say I like Bob Seger and his System much more than his Silver Bullet Band.
Avatar 9:11am
Joe McG:

@tim: Was there a big change of band members from System to Silver Bullet? I always thought they were more or less the same (hairy) dudes.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 9:14am
tim from champaign:

Good question. Maybe they went from being long haired and side burneded to bearded with feathered hair. I think though that the difference is in the songs. I did not hear nary a beer or truck commercial on "Mongrel".

I've got a fool proof scheme for the ultimate breakfast restaurant. It'll make me millions! I'm going to open a "jazz brunch" restaurant. Plus, it will be all fusion themed. Fusion jazz - Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, etc; fusion foods - ie, eggs benedict with naan instead of English muffins. The restaurant is called........"Montage"! PM me if you'd like to make a 100% sound investment.

You wouldn't believe how much his appearance has changed, 'Cile. The first time I saw a news photo of him from his mayoralty, I thought maybe someone else was using the name somehow.

"Sign on the Window" was originally from the "New Morning" album. Less than a half-hour long, it is unlike any other Dylan album I know, and must surely have been an inspiration to other off-mainstream singer-songwriters like Allen Price and Nick Drake.
