Maybe you knew that already.

The Point! is a fable and the sixth album by American songwriter and musician Harry Nilsson about a boy named Oblio, the only round-headed person in the Pointed Village, where by law everyone and everything had to have a point. Lydon would likely agree that 'Bollocks' was Produced too slick: a *few* of the pioneering Punk albums had tortuous long trails to formation & distribution (Velvets, Pistols, Clash)...

SPORT! it was a really good read. ended up starting kindling in the woodstove unfortunately, but sure it's on the times website.

i used to see mistress kimbra in the east village all the time, seeing her in the odessa restaurant in full vulcan outfit complete with spocks bangs and ears and eyebrows. classic ny moment. then i saw quenton crisp same night in the waverly diner having dinner on two young gay boys who wanted to bask in his powdered and perfumed glow. i don't think new york is like that anymore, is it? moved out 9 years ago.

i just saw kembra and quentin the same night in diners is all. quentin lived in his sro right round the block from me and my wife and i saw him all the time. he would go out to dinner with anyone who paid, and it was always young gay men who thought they might learn something from an institution like him. but he never really talked to them, he just ate his dinner and usually was silent.
