Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from February 10, 2015 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Did the Gary Kail / Zurich 1916 ‎"Creative Nihilism" LP I rescued from eBay ever arrive? PayPal shows in my transaction history that I sent the seller a payment on 12/10, but eBay has no record that I bought it. I think eBay is smoking crack. Anyway, I hope it showed up in your PO Box.

Henry's playing is reminding me of when Kurt did his Derek Bailey tribute a few weeks ago and did a track where Henry was playing homage to Derek, even his talking while playing style.

Shit, all this time I thought you were an East Coaster. I'm a Sacramento/Davis/Winters type of guy.

That's wild. I'm SoCal born and bred, NoCal for the last fourteen years. Maybe a couple comments I've made over the years about, aptly, Downtown Music Gallery, and trips to Victo gave the mistaken impression? I used to spend more time in Sacramento when friends lived there, but they're now in D.C. and Berkeley.
