	12:47pm zak: Burden of Dreams and My best Fiend are both great and insane. Everything by Les Blank (Burden of Dreams) is wonderful, lots of movies about badass musical figures and other great culture stuff - if you like FMU you'll like Blank's fimography

	♥ 12:50pm Huge: Jason Robards originally had the Kinski part, but was replaced due to illness. Jagger was his original sidekick. The delays forced new casting and some re-filming.
	♥ 12:51pm Handy Haversack: Helo, Michele! Helo, Feelers! We were on a supply run but left Feelings on for Bagpipe, and it seemed to soothe any separation anxiety. Good music for wiping down groceries and putting them away to!
	♥ 12:52pm YETI BOB: If you can get your hands on it, and can handle some pretty dark material, Fassbinder's "Berlin Alexanderplatz" is a great way to pass 14 hours. We watched it last winter over the course of a week. Alfred Döblin (author of the novel it's based on) is not very well-known outside the German-speaking world but he deserves to be. (Subtitled, but if you can understand German, so much the better)

One of these days they will reopen and I can go say "Hey" to Skyler & drink a beer and listen to some tunes and tell him how good I think this record is.

Meanwhile the guitar and vocals, in unison, alternate between bars of 3.5/4, 1/8, 4/3 and 52.1/the square root of pi. — Any other band in the world would have no idea how to play music this rhythmically complex… just incredible

	12:47pm zak: Burden of Dreams and My best Fiend are both great and insane. Everything by Les Blank (Burden of Dreams) is wonderful, lots of movies about badass musical figures and other great culture stuff - if you like FMU you'll like Blank's fimography

	♥ 12:50pm Huge: Jason Robards originally had the Kinski part, but was replaced due to illness. Jagger was his original sidekick. The delays forced new casting and some re-filming.

	♥ 12:52pm YETI BOB: If you can get your hands on it, and can handle some pretty dark material, Fassbinder's "Berlin Alexanderplatz" is a great way to pass 14 hours. We watched it last winter over the course of a week. Alfred Döblin (author of the novel it's based on) is not very well-known outside the German-speaking world but he deserves to be. (Subtitled, but if you can understand German, so much the better)
