You would think but James Bidgood was a photographer in his own right, there’s a beautiful Taschen book on his work. In the 80s it was a passed around video tape that said Kenneth anger as the director but we found out differently later

Interesting - in 1992 I had no William Burroughs reading experience, so I had no expectations for the movie. I was just a sensitive gay guy who'd been shocked and simultaneously cried at "Dead Ringers" so I knew "Naked Lunch" was a new film by a director I cared about
