Tony Coulter:

Hello, all! It seems unlikely that anyone could guess the identity of today's mystery LP-under-the-cassettes just based on what's showing, so here are some (big) clues: The album is from 1970, and the band is British and has ties to The Nice (and Refugee).

Hola, Ike! My cat would say hello back, except he's asleep in the middle of the floor here. Have to be careful not to step on him.

Someone just gave me a big batch of odd cassettes. For example, one is nothing but mail deliverers talking about being bitten by dogs. No doubt some of this stuff will end up on Tape Hiss.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm
Ike:

That sounds like a cat all right.

This tape is pretty hissy, but dolby makes it too muffled and dead-sounding, so I decided to go dolby-free and hiss-positive.
