I've mastered bbq on a charcoal smoker because the west coast does not know good bbq if it hit them in the face. a good brine is key. I've found that the charcoal struggles to maintain a cooking temp in the cold weather though.

The whole thing is heaving up and down. They quickly empty the place, and the fireman come, etc. We wait. They let us back in w/ the balcony closed and they pick up the song EXACTLY where they left off, everyone crammed in aong the orchestra seats. The place went apeshit.

One of the best song kickoffs ever. My first concert was The Cars and XTC at The Garden in December 1980. Both were phenomenal. Cars stage presence was a little detached, but XTC was a revelation.
