@Nutley Sam: It was either Central Park or the Pier by the West Side Highway where they did shows for a bit...I know I saw The Kinks and Neil Young and The International Harvesters at that pier around that time. Here's the thing...a day or two before the gig me, Billy & Miriam and The Hound were among the only people who attended a press conference for The Animals. I'm talking to one of them and asked them if they were going to do "Club A-GoGo". I know...but I was a teenager! And they said it was a good idea and they probably would. I think you know how the story ends.
