@Martinibomb An impressive generation of people in my opinion. They put up with many serious hardships and survived. He didn't like to talk about his WWI and WWII experiences but he convinced me that I" hhave it easy".

@Martinibomb Totally agree. My respect for my grandparents generation has grown over the years too. My grandad was my father figure and a down to earth realist. I appreciate him more now than I probably did when he was alive.
