I eat Scones!
Jeffrey Davison:

Jeffrey Davison:
@Kevin-san: a lot of scones are eaten here, although their heyday was the 80s or 90s, as I recall, when they seemed to be one of the most popular baked items for breakfast, and they were everywhere. Scone cookbooks...etc.

I'm chuckling at the thought of Patrick Duffy's webbed hands finger picking! He was bloody good too.

@HyperDose: the cranberry scone was always one of the most popular. Toasted...yum (but some are kinda crumbly and hard to toast)
@Jennica: I use that tea more for iced tea. Need my caffeine...

And here's a thing. A couple of years ago, I attended an evening gathering with friends and decided to bring a stash of cheese muffins I'd made.(American style, not English muffins) and, initially, got some suspicious and hesitant response. They disappeared in two minutes! Go savoury, my friends.

@Sylvia: glad to hear!

Good morning Toothgrinder Tom! Almond croissants are an indulgence for me, as they are usually so sweet.

Twenty something baristas and servers can be condescending here in Montclair NJ too. And sometimes the food is just mediocre, at best. Visiting London and visiting Stonehenge is something I so need to do. I want to feel the energies at Stonehenge. Are they overwhelming?

Good morning Mark R! There are a fair number of records in the FMU library I could do without...and no Jackson Browne!
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
Well my fave Bob LP is 'Bringing It All Back Home' - or maybe 'Blonde On Blonde' & I'm lying. But yeah - need to remember how high his 2nd major peak in the early 1970s was in fact... Thing is it was Divorce / Watergate / Nam Vets return stuff...

Did you ever get a chance to check out the Jozef Van Wissem & Gary Lucas album with their version of These Days?
