Several spots back, the ITT animation of aerial view across and around cityscape...was that '83 like many of these others? Seemed more sophisticated than what systems could do that early.

The ITT piece was a long smooth fly-thru of city with girder-buidlings and full structures appearing in place in the layout as cam view traveled, with highways, etc., and without the strictly graphic appearance of other designs of the period. Just curious. Can't find it so far in a search.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:26pm

@Phillippe: It's been a compilation of '80s computer-generated advertisements thusfar. Aerial grid patterns, white people break-dancing, office furniture deconstructions.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm

Working at small-market TV station in early 80s, the computer style grids and backgrounds were becoming so popular everywhere else that I asked the one-man art department to just create a drawn grid in perspective and we chroma-keyed it to create the look and join the party/vocabulary. Primitive and slightly pathetic.

Someone who likes the bad boy periods and more raw flavors of Stones output might not like something like their version of Fortune Teller, but I get a kick out of it. Some want a particular posture, grit and strut. But why Fire would be the primary violation, who can say?
