She would go about her daily household chores singing along with these evergreens on the radio. I actually enjoy this era of American pop. But in my teen years, along came Elvis, Buddy Holly, the Beatles, the Sfones, Bob Dylan etc. Still like hearing the old tunes. Good music is timeless.
