@ethan had a quick look at mobilization.com and was reminded of how to destroy the universe (#?/year?) at the transmission with hal hosting and the mermen played

Rory, when you referred to negative vibes, I had to look back over the comments to see what you meant. We all miss record stores. No oof necessary!

Rory, I'm doing better than many. Sold most of my stock to another nearby store and have a line on a pretty good job in the Spring. I'm actually semi-optimistic. I may open a smaller version within a bookstore in the area, after things get back to semi-normal.

Thanks for the shoutout! And I'm glad you took the initiative of looking for that song so I could hear it.

I miss record stores so much... but I miss live music even more. Also, both movie theaters in my city closed recently. Wtf

Hey Joe!!!Yeah, same here. Hey Rory, I miss the conversations as much as anything else. Social interaction in general. And live music, of course. On the upside, I am listening to WFMU even more than I used to, if that's possible. And watching movies. Looking forward to warm weather for some responsible outside gatherings with friends.

Hello Ira. Can you play the Bo Diddley song again, but the misprinted label version this time? I didn't get here till the next song after it. Thanks in advance!

This stuff is amazing...it’s like the music we will all listen to in the aftermath of a pandemic apocalypse...maybe that’s too obvious to say but it has to be said...this is pure synchronized carnage...noise sculpture at its finest

I love how people still say “my pot dealer” when they have legal weed delivered to them. Strange times lol!

It be so cool to start a band that did purely this style of atmospheric cacophonous mind bending provocative sound art...goodbye to all Pop...God I luv it so...

I look forward to the storm of great live music that will follow this pandemic. Thank you for this interesting reprieve, Ira. John L, 2 great movies to consider if you haven't yet seen them: the wages of fear + carbide and sorrel

Lori from Eau Claire: Wages of Fear is great! I'll look into the other film; I'm not familiar. An now I'll do a plug for Kanopy. Check with your local library and see if they provide the service. Free film streaming and they have a great selection. They only let you watch 4 films a month, but it's free and have a wide selection.

@dean if your band would like interesting visual things dynamically happening on a wall behind or similar, please contact me!

Gurldoggie:

@Dean - it's because even with legal weed, we want to keep that sense of doing something subversive. Even if in reality we're going to the weed store on our way to get a gallon of milk, we still want to be ducking behind the bleachers with a joint.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:54pm

I remember when I first started smoking my friend said we were outlaws lol!
