That recent HD restoration of “Jazz on a Summer’s Day” is breathtaking!! So glad I was able to catch that in a cinema when local theatres were briefly reopened last summer. I highly recommend everyone check it out on WFMU’s Kino Marquee movie platform if it’s still available there

@Mom, sympathies to you and yr husband. I had a vegetarian epic fail when I blew my college food budget on four trays of homemade but inedible buffalo sourdough bread for a dinner party for my future wife and I and pals. (I was missing buffalo wings and hadn't heard of buffalo cauliflower in '90) One condition for said marriage was that I must consult cookbooks from that moment til death do us part.
