	1:42pm doctorjazz: New Grass was some strange attempt to get some popularity and sales, not at all like the other albums. I like his mix of abstract playing and primitives (and that buzzsaw tone), a bit like Ornette in that way, but he's one of these either you love it or hate it kind of artists. Been listening to Davis S. Ware every night this past week, talkabout amazing (buzzsaw) tones!
	1:43pm coelacanth∅: - than Brotzman?! ...i think part of that is that he usually played in the upper range of his instrument so it cut through everything else - that's how it seems to me anyway. maybe he also pushed through the horn harder.

I like his mix of abstract playing and primitives (and that buzzsaw tone), a bit like Ornette in that way, but he's one of these either you love it or hate it kind of artists. Been listening to Davis S. Ware every night this past week, talkabout amazing (buzzsaw) tones!
