@Franco -- yeah, never heard it anywhere else -- just recall one of the other girls singing it and it kinda caught on

and omg my younger sister hated asparagus too when we were young! (and my Mom may have even had the fresh stuff then too?) -- one night my Mom was like, "you are not leaving this table until you eat that asparagus!" -- she had a piece in her mouth but REFUSED to eat it -- she sat there until well after dark, i think my Dad finally let her leave the kitchen table

Ira, this has been a difficult year for Hollywood, but one movie I saw that I highly recommend is The Mole People with Hugh Beaumont(Beavers dad) and John Agar(A war hero) I don't now if it's been short listed for any awards at the Oscars, but it shows when the chips are down, Hollywood can still deliver thought provoking fare that isn't afraid to ruffle some feathers.

I just watched a Hugh Beaumont film a couple of days ago-The Seventh Victim. This could be his year.

Unfortunately for me, 4/20 aligns perfectly with the height of hay fever season. TCH is pollen. I am highly allergic to pollen, otherwise I would be totally ripped just like the rest of you.

I lost my job yesterday and this 4/20 edible bakery and delivery company saw my post and came buy with a gift of cupcakes for me today. The woman who runs it said she lost her restaurant job 4 years ago and said that she visceraly rememberd how it hurt so she had to do something for me. What an angel. Her kind act really halted a self pity spiral i was about to fall into. It meant so much to me and my day!

The only time I've ever been fired, I went to Venice Beach and sat in the sand an smoked so much weed I couldn't stand up, let alone go in the water. I still fell bad about getting fired.

Coelacanth that was a great point about King Kong and T Rex. And to think, one gave us "20th Century Man" and the other gave us "20th Century Boy."

i got fired once but the store owner wanted me to stay 30 days and hire someone to replace me and train the person. i hired someone but she wasn't interested in being manager
...anyway on the final day i was saying goodbye to customers, some pictures taken, a few teary eyes even; and near the end of the day the owner said what's going on? then it seemed that he'd forgotten and said well you can stay another month if you want.
i said "Bye!"
- but really it stands as the favorite job i've ever had.

I carried a sandwich board for a while. I rigged it so I could read a book while parading back and forth in front of NYC's top model train store (advertising NYC's 2nd best model train store, across the street). I figured no one would want to bump into my sandwich board, and it worked out pretty well. I wonder if they're hiring?
