Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

You think I might have a problem?

yes, there are hills here, and i live at the top of one, so after a long ride, i get to struggle up a short, steep climb. good times!

UM, I find getting started again is the hardest part. I let myself get sedentary over the winter and early spring, drinking beers instead of riding bikes. Finally starting to get some miles in again. Part of the magic of the bicycle for me is that, once I make myself get back on, I instantly feel like a kid again.

My fanciest frame, if you're into that sliver brazed steel thing, is a Bruce Gordon that he built in about 1983, shortly after he went out on his own. 68(!)x59cm. Lugs filed to a fare-thee-well. Picked it up for a song on ebay about 20 years ago now? Gotta save it up to send to CyclArt for some well-deserved love.
