Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

That movie either looks like the greatest drama ever done, or the biggest blunder.

I'd say it was 50/50 and some of the disagreements were crazy. Siskel didn't like Apocalypse Now, but enjoyed Baby's Day Out and Carnosaur. Ebert was the complete reversal on both.

docjazz: I love that stuff ! Could broaden the Transpo thing to Mechanical Ages - but I like the correlation of Rhythm & Movement as it's lived... Saw one Doc said the term 'Rock'n'Roll' was from how you load & unload on the ramps up to a riverboat on the Mississippi. Whereas it's almost always presumed to be Sexual like Jazz.
