We saw a bald eagle, a couple of ospreys, and more heron than you could shake a stick at, if doing so were your thing. Very nice paddling around on the Hudson near Saugerties.

reno has exploded in population since i moved here 6 years ago. i think there's probably too many thrift stores for them all to be picked over. i had to put the brakes on thrifting for a while, so not sure how bad it is. i can say this - the free stuff on cl from marin is still the best. not as much in that respect here.
