My son used to love prodding them when he was a toddler. We once delivered some components to a French guy and he damn near burst into tears when he was saw it, it made him feel so nostalgic.

So many of these Spoonful tunes worked so well as Mississippi John Hurt-style solo fingerpicked versions... plus he did some actual MJH tunes, and a beautiful instrumental version of the Everlys' Walk Right Back...

They went to jail and he sort of submerged until his Kotter comeback...

I was reviewing the show and as I arrived, Jack and John were out in the driveway smoking and kibitzing. They were so nice to talk to, totally welcoming, but after a few minutes, gave them space. The show was absolutely great, btw, w Sebastian’s phalanx of harmonicas adding gorgeous counter-melodies

	♥ 10:59am Dennis Diken: I was really lucky to have performed at the Wild Honey Spoonful charity trib in LA last Feb, my last sojourn before lockdown. played drums on a bunch of songs and sang lead on "Butchie's Tune" with John S playing right by my side! all 3 surviving Spooners were on board. a total life highlight!!!

The show was absolutely great, btw, w Sebastian’s phalanx of harmonicas adding gorgeous counter-melodies

There was one of Linda Ronstadt singing with Jimmie Dale Gilmore in the early 80s. What was most remarkable about the photo was Linda was wearing a calculator watch!
