	🎸 ♥ 9:26am Threemoons: And back to @HH--agreed RE GET VAXXED IF YOU CAN. Not a choice anymore; time for mandatory shots and proof of vaccination for re-entry to public life. Breakthrough cases are no joke and the more folks who get the shot, the fewer carriers. If my Mom gets breakthrough COVID it will kill her.I especially don't get health workers who refuse the shot. A couple in my building--young, with a 4 year old--both work at Sinai in Astoria. One is an orderly, one is an ER nurse. They BOTH refused the shot, and said that they would "pray and maintain a positive attitude." When I worked at MSKCC--as a white collar person with no patient contact--I had to get titres checked and vaxxed for every damn thing under the sun if I needed boosters. It was a condition of employment. The idea that an orderly--who goes from room to room--has no shot, along with an ER nurse who deals with every bodily fluid out there....ugh.

Lenovos are a pain in the ass because IIRC the business end of the charger has these odd shapes on em--kind of like dual octogons or similar.

Breakthrough cases are no joke and the more folks who get the shot, the fewer carriers. If my Mom gets breakthrough COVID it will kill her.I especially don't get health workers who refuse the shot. A couple in my building--young, with a 4 year old--both work at Sinai in Astoria. One is an orderly, one is an ER nurse. They BOTH refused the shot, and said that they would "pray and maintain a positive attitude." When I worked at MSKCC--as a white collar person with no patient contact--I had to get titres checked and vaxxed for every damn thing under the sun if I needed boosters. It was a condition of employment. The idea that an orderly--who goes from room to room--has no shot, along with an ER nurse who deals with every bodily fluid out there....ugh.
