One of the reasons I really enjoy this show so much. Loving this Old Codger-esq track from the 1940s! And then she'll play something funky from the 1970s, and then maybe something brand new that's really awesome too. Love it all and of course love the focus on female-fronted bands.

I also see that buses in Lower Manhattan are being truncated to the north or detoured because of Holland Tunnel traffic, which is a policy failure on multiple levels that is so horrible, unacceptable, and unfair that I can't even wrap my head around it. Less than a week after the I.P.C.C. climate crisis report, no less. We have to, we must, do better.

I play it all the time in my car, driving around. And I feel like the end, with the lyrics "I'll go wherever you go, Wherever you take me, I'll go" that it reminds me of how I am when I tune into WFMU. Because, I'm normally very controlling about my auditory space. But at WFMU, I just open myself, to hear whatever is played.

Less than a week after the I.P.C.C. climate crisis report, no less. We have to, we must, do better.
