MORRICONE ISLAND is a weekly film and television soundtrack radio program on WFMU hosted by Devon E. Levins. The show was conceived in 2007 and transitioned over to WFMU in 2014. THE MORRICONE ISLAND INTERVIEWS podcast features the in-depth conversations with film and television music composers and the related soundtrack industry and fan community.

Kronos Quartet founder/violinist David Harrington and filmmaker Sam Green (The Weather Underground) discuss their April 25th Town Hall NYC debut of the live documentary "A Thousand Thoughts." The multimedia performance combines Kronos on stage revisiting their body of work, performing music by George Crumb, Laurie Anderson, John Zorn, Clint Mansell and others, while Green narrates the 45-year story of the quartet along with on screen archival footage and interviews with the likes of Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Terry Riley.
