Alina, so you're always the one that did the pieing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22pm
Ike:

Are we talking Catholics now? I used to think Catholic girls were pervs, but then I realized they’re (relatively) normal and us American WASPs are the weird ones for being so repressed. Calvinism and Puritanism messed us up but good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm
Franco Twinkie:

Ike, you're not totally wrong.
Avatar 2:30pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Jung said he had fewer Catholics on his analyst's couch than Protestants. @ least they give the symbolic life some credit. They say in Haiti if you really want to leave Vodoun - you become Protestant - no Spirit @ all. Same in Porn I think...

@Ike: I brought up Catholicism because Bolloré is a proud catholic sadist. I never met him but know people who did, and just wow, this is a sick person
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
Ike:

Fascinating, @RRN63, didn’t know that about Jung.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:39pm
Franco Twinkie:

Jung didn't stay relevant for nothing. Look, to be a Catholic, lapsed or otherwise is a lifelong proposition. It's like been jumped into a gang - you're a banger for life. Benefits: You get to raise Hell if only to come face to face with trouble, because you believe you can always get away with it. My operating principal as long as I remember.

Listener Robert:

Looked like could be the last day of barbecue weather for the year here in NW NJ, but I wanted to cut the grass, last time of the year I hope. So I got out the electric mower, went into the basement crawl space to plug it in and change the house water filter, and while I was down there also getting wet thru my sitting under the filter housing heard some other running water. Turned out what sounded like distant thunder as I wheeled out the mower was indeed that. It rained briefly but enough for me to have an excuse not to cut the grass. Then the sun came out, and if I put down a dry cushion to sit on, I'll barbecue once Stork Club finishes.
