I have come to bless our friends the fishes
And all the mighty creatures of the sea
From the tiny shrimp to the very cool shark
Who spend their whole lives under the water!
You're a joy to behold beneath the waves!
Your health and happiness is our big wish!
Full bellies and Happy swimming's our wish
For all you truly amazing fishes!
Be careful underneath those swirling waves
Especially when it's dark in the sea!
May this year keep you safe from hungry sharks!
And may you sleep well under that water!
We hope you get along well with the sharks
That is perhaps our most important wish!
May you feel blessed as you glide through water
Swimming quickly by the other fishes
In a happy, uncomplicated sea
Under all those soft, calm and soothing waves!
May you find warmth and peace in those soft waves
And avoid sharks! Unless you are a shark!

If you could do it, a blessing for Dougal (pronounced "Doo-gul") our tuxedo cat whom we lost two months ago to cancer. He fearlessly lived to 15 and was a vibrant and loving presence in my wife's and my lives. Amanda, your voice is the perfectly calming and reassuring morning sound.
