I admit to being addicted to it back then, but even they had to "give up the ghost" eventually. It used to bug me when songs that were in strong rotation on MTV were played on regular radio stations, I couldn't get those visual images out of my head. Felt like brainwashing. Or am I being too harsh?

	2:24pm Gerry from Miami: Maybe it's just me, but the mention of MTV leaves me with a funny taste in my mouth. I admit to being addicted to it back then, but even they had to "give up the ghost" eventually. It used to bug me when songs that were in strong rotation on MTV were played on regular radio stations, I couldn't get those visual images out of my head. Felt like brainwashing. Or am I being too harsh?
