Lots of local bands/musicians doing all Stones covers and benefits went to Alzheimer's in memory of Charlie Watts. It was fantastic! River Boats Gamblers were one of the bands and their rendition of Paint It Black was amazing!!

I was disappointed that the song "Three Chord City" had more than three chords. I was pleased that "1 Cord City" had only one chord and also that it wasn't really about chords at all.

I have a foggy memory of going to see/hear the fountain with a U2 soundtrack while in high school sometime in the late 80s. There was a fantastic band from Grand Haven in the early/mid 80s called Jim Jones and the Kool-Aid Kids. Their lone LP is quite sought out in heavy music circles.

The soundtrack album has some tracks that I can't find elsewhere, like the Ramones' "Chop Suey". During the film's closing credits, Lou performs "Little Sister", a song he wrote for Nico's first album.

When I heard "Better Days" over the end credits of a tv show my ears perked up and got Graham back into my collection.

I have a foggy memory of going to see/hear the fountain with a U2 soundtrack while in high school sometime in the late 80s. There was a fantastic band from Grand Haven in the early/mid 80s called Jim Jones and the Kool-Aid Kids. Their lone LP is quite sought out in heavy music circles.
